What a day in the Winelands costs
One price per person, agreed before you book, covering everything that happens on the day. You will not be handed a bill at an estate, and there is no fuel surcharge waiting at the end.

Prices are quoted in South African Rand. Euro and dollar figures are indicative only — your card will be charged in ZAR, and the rate you get is your bank's, not ours.
Each barrel is chalked with what's inside it and when it goes to bottle. Standing in a room like this, while someone who made the wine explains what the markings mean, is the part of the day the tasting fees above are quietly paying for.

Booking & cancellation
How booking works
Enquire with a date
Send through your dates, group size, and anything you already know you want from the day. WhatsApp is usually fastest.
We agree the plan in writing
Date, group size, itinerary, and price. A booking is confirmed once you have that written confirmation from me — not before.
Cancel free up to 7 days before
Full refund. Inside seven days but over 24 hours, half is refunded. Inside 24 hours, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
If we cancel, you are covered
Severe weather or a safety concern on our side means a full refund or an alternative date, your choice.

How much does a wine tour in the Cape Winelands cost? +
A full-day private wine tour is R2 950 per person. The price includes door-to-door transport, all tasting and entry fees, lunch, and the guide.
Is the wine tour price per person or per group? +
Per person. Tours are private, so the group is only ever the people you book with — the per-person rate does not change because strangers have joined.
What is included in the wine tour price? +
Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off from Cape Town or the Winelands, all tasting and cellar entry fees at every estate, lunch at a selected estate restaurant, and a WSET Level 3 certified guide for the day.
What is not included in the price? +
Bottles you buy to take home, drinks beyond the tastings and lunch, and gratuities. Nothing else is charged on the day.
Do you require a deposit? +
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, group size, and itinerary in writing. A deposit may be required to secure the date; otherwise there is no online prepayment to hold it. The tour is paid in full, by card through Yoco or by EFT, before it begins.
What is the cancellation policy? +
Cancel seven days or more before the tour for a full refund. Inside seven days but more than 24 hours before, 50% of the amount paid is refunded. Inside 24 hours, and no-shows, are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or safety, you get a full refund or an alternative date. The full terms set this out formally.
Do you offer discounts for larger groups? +
Larger groups and multi-day itineraries are quoted individually. Send through your numbers and dates and we will come back with a price.
