Overview
These terms apply to all tours, hikes, and experiences booked with MyWineTour, operated by Marinus Wijnbeek, based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa.
By submitting a booking enquiry or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
Bookings & Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed once Marinus has responded to your enquiry and agreed on a date, group size, and itinerary. A booking is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from us.
Pricing
Prices are quoted per person in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change. The price agreed at confirmation is the price you will pay.
- Wine tours: from R2 450 per person
- Estate to Estate Hike: R1 050 per person
Prices include pick-up and drop-off, guide fees, and wine tastings unless otherwise stated. Lunch is typically at your own cost unless explicitly included.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation with 48+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduled date at no charge.
- Cancellation within 48 hours: A 50% cancellation fee applies.
- No-shows: Non-refundable.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to severe weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
Conduct & Responsibility
All guests participate at their own risk. MyWineTour is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during a tour or hike.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow guests, estate staff, and the guide at all times. MyWineTour reserves the right to remove any guest from a tour whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
Guests are responsible for their own alcohol consumption. Responsible drinking is encouraged.
Health & Fitness
The Estate to Estate Hike involves walking approximately 7km on uneven terrain. Guests should ensure they are physically able to participate. Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements prior to your tour.
Transport
Where pick-up and drop-off is included, we will agree on a meeting point in advance. Guests are responsible for being ready at the agreed time.
Photography
We may take photographs during tours for use on our website and social media. Please let us know if you would prefer not to be photographed.
