The Tour

Your day,
composed entirely

No fixed template. No pre-set itinerary. You tell us what you love — a particular valley, a cultivar, a style of food — and we build the day around that. Stellenbosch and Franschhoek in one sweep, or a slow and deep afternoon in one corner. Entirely yours.

  1. 01

    Any combination of valleys

Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, or both in a day — we know the roads, the timings, and the hidden stops between them.

  2. 02

Wine, food, hiking — mix freely

Add a vineyard walk, a cellar deep-dive, a long lunch at a specific restaurant, or a stop at the Stellenbosch food market.

  3. 03

    Perfect for celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries, group trips, team events — we've shaped days around all of them. Special arrangements on request.

  4. 04

    Built the night before

We talk through your preferences the evening before — or even the morning of — and confirm a plan that actually fits who you are.

How It Works

From conversation
to itinerary

Every custom tour starts with a short conversation — by WhatsApp, email, or call. We figure out what kind of day you're after and build from there.

Step 1

Tell us what you love

A quick message is enough — which wine styles interest you, how many people, what kind of pace, any restaurants on your list.

Step 2

We draft your day

We send a proposed itinerary — estates, timings, lunch option — usually within a few hours. You can adjust anything.

Step 3

We confirm the bookings

Once you're happy, we lock in estate appointments and any restaurant reservations on your behalf.

Step 4

Collection, and off we go

Pick-up from your door — Cape Town or the Winelands — and a day that unfolds exactly as planned, or better.

Step 5

Home, with notes

We'll send you a summary of everything you tasted, with producer details and what to look for when you're buying.

What it looks like

No two days
are the same

Custom tours have taken guests from cellar to summit, from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek, from morning mist to golden hour.

How far in advance do I need to book? +

A few days is usually enough. For larger groups or specific estate requests, a week or more gives us more flexibility. Last-minute is possible — just ask.

Can we visit both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek in one day? +

Yes, though we'd pace it carefully — one valley in the morning, the other in the afternoon, with lunch between. It makes for a full but very rewarding day.

What if we want to focus on a specific wine style? +

That's exactly what custom tours are for. Tell us what you're obsessing over — old-vine Chenin, natural wines, Cabernet blends — and we'll build the entire day around those producers.

How many people can join? +

Any size from 2 upwards. Larger groups (10+) may require additional logistics — we'll sort it.

Can you arrange something special for a celebration? +

Absolutely. We've arranged private cellar dinners, vineyard picnics, and estate tastings with the winemaker present. Tell us the occasion and we'll make it memorable.
