Every MyWineTour day is different, shaped by the group and the season. But here’s a version of a full Stellenbosch day that shows what’s possible when the pieces come together well.

Departing Cape Town: 8:30 AM

The drive from Cape Town takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. By the time you arrive in the Winelands, the morning light is still soft and the estates are just opening.

First Stop: Super Single Vineyards

A family-run operation with a rustic, deeply personal approach to winemaking. The visit feels generational — the kind of estate where the winemaker’s grandfather planted the original vines and the family still harvests by hand.

Late Morning: Karibib Wine Craft

Up-and-coming and already award-winning, Karibib is one of the most exciting stops in the Stellenbosch Polkadraai Hills. The tasting is personal and the setting — often in the vineyard itself — is unlike most in the region.

Lunch: Cosecha Restaurant at Noble Hill

Latin cuisine with responsibly-sourced meats and seasonal local produce, in a setting that overlooks the vineyard. A guided garden walk before or after lunch adds another dimension to the estate visit.

Afternoon: Oldenburg Vineyards

End the day at altitude in the Banghoek Valley. Oldenburg’s Syrah in particular is worth the drive — elegant, precise, and reflective of the mountain setting.

A Note on Customisation

All MyWineTour itineraries are adjusted based on departure location, preferences, and the season. This is one version of a very good day. Yours would look different — shaped around what you love and what you haven’t tried yet.
